Burger Round-Up: Manna and Coqfighter
It's been an awful long time since I wrote any food reviews, so time to get back to it. In September and October I visited two different burger joints, the first being Manna at the Oxford Street Arcade Hall. Manna do smash burgers and chicken burgers straight from the US, and the Nashville fried chicken burger that I got (for the measly cost of £10) was as succulent a piece of chicken as you're like to get. Grab a dip too, and get dirty.
Then in October I went to Coqfighter by Carnaby Street for their monthly special that saw them team up with Pizza Pilgrims (a pizza place I rate) for a Chicken parmigiana burger. With smoked mozzarella, basil pesto and a marinara sauce, the special was decent but the chicken was lacking in the juice. Not a bad place for a burger, and their specials are often intriguing, but outside of that I am unlikely to return.
