Burger Round-Up: Dirty Bones & Honest Burgers
Two burger places I've been to in the past month: First up, Dirty Bones in Soho, who did £5 burgers Monday to Wednesday in January. Unfortunately I had already eaten earlier in the day when I went (foolish behaviour, in retrospect), so I just went for the one burger, the Buffalo Chicken (pictured above). This had Koji & buttermilk crispy fried chicken with American cheese, lettuce, pickles, Buffalo hot sauce and buttermilk ranch on a brioche bun. I'd happily pay double the price for this bad boy. The chicken was delicious, and the burger itself one of the best I've had in London. Yep, I'd go back to Dirty Bones without a doubt.
Then on 8th February, I went for lunch at Honest Burgers, to try out their special for February, a kimchi burger consisting of double smashed Honest beef patties, kimchi, kimchi brown butter mayo, white onions, pickles and American cheese. It was another winner from Honest, who very rarely do wrong. Delicious and hearty burgers.
Very happy with these two outings, Dirty Bones a great new find, while Honest remains top tier.
